Marci Jaffer

Marci has worked with students at every stage of the college essay and enjoys the entire creative process. She believes that each student is unique, and therefore, has his/her own story to tell. Marci guides all her students through every step of essay development but makes sure to design a plan that appropriately fits each student’s needs. For some students, part of the process is guiding them to first identify their stories, and for others, it is helping them translate their vision into words.

Marci has been teaching high school English for over fifteen years and has worked as an adjunct professor of English at several colleges. She holds an MFA in creative writing, an MA in English, and a BA in English with a minor in art history. She has worked with hundreds of students on their college essays for over fifteen years and has helped them get into some of their top-choice schools. When she is not teaching or guiding students with essays, Marci teaches yoga and enjoys spending time with her family.
