Karen comes to Guide Us with an extensive, diverse background and leadership experience. Karen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Math/Engineering from the University of Virginia and her MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. For over fifteen years, she worked as a financial analyst at commercial and investment banks and a national bond rating agency. Karen also assisted in interviewing, training, and mentoring new analysts. She is an Executive Board Vice President and past President of the Upper Saddle River Educational Foundation. This non-profit organization funds educational grants and capital investments for the Upper Saddle River public school district.

Karen received her Certificate in College Counseling, Awarded with Distinction, from UCLA. She is an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (ICEA). Karen is very excited about helping students and families navigate the college search and application process and has experience working with several recruited athletes. She, her husband, and two teenage daughters enjoy traveling and exploring new cities and restaurants together.
